Refund Policy
At ROBO STB, we strive to provide a seamless experience with our algorithmic trading platform. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for payments made through our payment gateway. Please read this policy carefully before making any payments.
1. Refund Eligibility
Amounts paid through the payment gateway for ROBO STB subscriptions or services are non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
- Multiple Debits Due to Technical Error: If a customer’s card or bank account is debited multiple times due to a technical error, or if an excess amount is debited in a single transaction, the excess amount, excluding payment gateway charges, will be refunded.
- Unsuccessful Subscription Due to Technical Error: If a payment is charged to the customer’s card or bank account but the subscription activation fails due to a technical error, ROBO STB will provide the subscription at no additional cost. Alternatively, if the customer prefers a refund, the net amount, after deducting payment gateway charges or other applicable fees, will be refunded.
2. Refund Application Process
To request a refund, customers must submit an application including:
- The transaction number.
- The original payment receipt, if any, generated at the time of payment.
3. Submission of Refund Request
The refund application must be sent in the prescribed format to stbrobo@gmail.com.
4. Refund Processing
Refund applications will be processed manually. Upon verification, if the claim is deemed valid, the excess amount will be refunded via electronic mode in favor of the applicant. A confirmation will be sent to the mailing address provided in the online registration form. The process will be completed within 21 calendar days from the receipt of the claim. Depending on the customer’s bank policy, it may take an additional 5–21 days for the refunded amount to appear in the bank account.
5. Non-Liability for Payment Failures
ROBO STB assumes no responsibility and shall incur no liability if it is unable to process any payment instruction(s) on the payment date due to any of the following circumstances:
- Incomplete, inaccurate, invalid, or delayed payment instructions provided by the customer.
- Insufficient funds or limits in the payment account to cover the amount specified in the payment instruction(s).
- Funds in the payment account being subject to any encumbrance or charge.
- Refusal or delay by the customer’s bank or the National Clearing Centre (NCC) in honoring the payment instruction(s).
- Events beyond ROBO STB’s control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural disasters, bank strikes, power outages, or system failures (e.g., computer or telephone line breakdowns) due to unforeseeable causes or external interference.
6. Account Suspension or Termination
ROBO STB reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate a user’s account or access to services, in whole or in part, for any reason or no reason, without penalty or prior notice. This includes the removal of any account data, user profile, or related information. ROBO STB may also discontinue providing access to services at any time. Users agree that ROBO STB will not be liable to them or any third party for such termination. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. These remedies are in addition to any other legal or equitable remedies available to ROBO STB. Upon termination, users must immediately cease using the services.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Refund Policy or the services provided by ROBO STB will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis and will not be consolidated with any claim or controversy of any other party.
